| 1901 | Discovery of a wall painting in what is now the Restaurant in the autumn of 1901. The painting is believed to have been produced c. 1547-1554. (Reign of Edward VI). |
| 1942 | Wall damaged by cannon shells during air raid. Restored in 1961. |
| 1960 | December Purchase of Flushing Inn by Mr and Mrs Mann. |
